21 days before matriculation day! This is quite nerve racking. So, in order to calm myself I do a small 2-minute meditation. It helps me focus and bring awareness in me. My current reading: The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. I figured I do some spiritual reading before I start dental school. In this way, I can have a control over myself, not procrastinate like before. I highly recommend it although I haven’t finished reading the book. I would also recommend reading a book on Time Management.
The orientation starts on August 18th.
Monday:
It seems to be a light day with couple of speakers and student service information. Lunching with faculty. The major events for that day are Honor’s code, and Anatomy lab orientation. Of course, ASDA party at Velvet Lounge.
Tuesday
We get to meet out faculties for the first year. I heard from my big-sib that he played beer pong with his dental anatomy professor. That’s so cool. I love the fact we have so much attention from the faculty. The major event for the day will be the BBQ @ Dr. Sherwim house.
Wednesday
We are adviced to bring out laptop for this day. I’m guessing it going to be a IT day in dental world. The major event for the day will be the dinner at Lombardi’s on the sound.
Thursday
This day focuses on the health assessment and insurance stuff. We going to have our class election as well. I wonder who is running. I think I should run for something. Evening another ASDA social event: Night out at tommy’s.
Friday
The wrap up and be prepared to enter dental school speeches. Wish us luck!

Thanks for visiting my website. There are tons of anatomy mnemonics out there. Search google for more. If I had more time I would post some more that I know that are useful, but a google search can give you more than I know. Good luck in dental school, keep blogging, and keep visiting my blog!
